The Standard Template Library, namespaces and function classes have been included as well as appendixes on using Microsoft's Visual C++ Version 6.0 and Borland's C++ Builder compiler. The ANSI specifications for C++ are incorporated throughout the book. In addition, the Y2K problem has been addressed by changing the date class to store a four-digit year.
